Environmental pollution is defined as the contamination of the physical and biological components of the earth/atmosphere system to such an extent that normal environmental processes are adversely affected.

Effects of environmental pollution on human health

Environmental pollutants have various adverse health effects from early life some of the most important harmful effects are perinatal disorders, infant mortality, respiratory disorders, allergy, malignancies, cardiovascular disorders, increase in stress oxidative, endothelial dysfunction, mental disorders.

How we reduce environmental pollution?

  1. Recycle and REUSE.
  2. No to plastic bags.
  3. Reduction of forest fires and smoking.
  4. Use of fans instead of air Conditioner.
  5. Use filters for chimneys.
  6. Avoid usage of crackers.
  7. Reduce or eliminate fireplace and wood stove use.
  8. Avoid burning leaves, trash, and other materials.
  9. Avoid using gas-powered lawn and garden equipment.
  10. Use lead free fuel.
